Texting (Post Production Editing)
We got shown this clip in class and we thought it would be a really good idea to show text messages in a user friendly way. Here there are several different types of ways that film makers display text messages, but I feel that the most simple approach would be the most effective.

In the example above, composition is very important to consider. Sherlock is excellent in the way they find redundant space in which to place the text message. Thus above, you have the wall on which to place the message. You will need to SB carefully where you plan to use such techniques because the text can't be allowed to get in the way of important action.
